We are the Walkers, John and Donnamarie, and we reside in the sunshine state of Florida, in a small town called Grove City, which is in Englewood. We have lived here for nearly twelve years. It is a beautiful place with lots of fresh air, sun, and beaches nearby. Whenever possible, we like to spend time out on the water in the Gulf of Mexico. Donna still gets a little nervous out there in that big wide gulf of water, but she loves boating, and some of our best times have been when we've taken the kids and their friends out there on the water and spent the day. They all like nothing better than to have me pull over and anchor so they can go swimming.

I am originally from Tennessee, where I was raised on a farm by my grandparents. I have been here in Florida for over 30 years. Donnamarie is originally from New York, but her folks moved the family to Florida when she was about six so she pretty much considers herself a southern lady after being here for 42 years.

Between us we have eight children. Two are mine, three are Donna's, and three are step-children. What they call a blended family. And that's exactly what we are. Most are grown and married, or living on their own, with the youngest recently out on his own. We also have three grandsons and a granddaughter.

I believe we are each to be a missionary to the lost and we pursue an active one-on-one ministry of fellowship and counseling supporting an evangelistic gospel message. Our focus is to the needs of those in our community and to be a daily witness to the saving grace and love of JESUS. We hope to use this site to spread the gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and maybe share with you our own experiences and insights, what's happening in our community and church, and in our mission field. We hope you enjoy your visit.
